HAITI PARTNERS

On a hilltop in Haiti sits an organization that is challenging convention and transforming communities through their innovative and inclusive approach to education. Overlooking Port-au-Prince, Haiti Partners has built a beautiful facility to withstand both mother nature and life circumstance. They are engaging parents and community members. They are investing in teachers in meaningful ways. And they are focused not only on educating their students, but creating an environment for them to thrive. They are being the change.

I had the privilege of visiting that hilltop and Haiti Partners in the summer of 2015, and have looked back on them as a model of what’s possible ever since. When we created Katalis it was obvious that Haiti Partners was an organization we wanted to collaborate with, and to our benefit they are on board. We are so grateful to have such an incredible team to partner with in our scholarship recommendations and mentorship, and look forward to growing the relationship and potentially expanding our work together.
