LOVE GOD LOVE PEOPLE

What does truly loving people look like? It looks like a youth soccer league. It looks like a community clean up crew. It looks like opening your home to days filled with English classes, counseling sessions, and song. It looks like approaching people where they are and meeting needs as they come. It looks like Pastor Sabrina Serna-Villemenay and her family, and their organization, Love God Love People (LGLP).

Over the last handful of years I’ve had the opportunity to not only watch LGLP grow with the needs of the communities it serves, but to get to know the team and heart behind the mission. Pastor Sabrina has a love for people that is so genuine and unconditional, its infectious. I have seen Sabrina and her husband, Pastor Jude, and family in action, and they are reaching the people of Haiti in meaningful and beautiful ways. It's hard to put a label on the work that they do because it's as broad and deep as the needs of the nation. It's about education. It's about developing leaders. It's about discipleship. It's about service. It's about loving God through his people, and vice versa. The team here at Katalis is excited about the opportunity to partner with LGLP in our scholarship recommendations and mentorship program, and see that as just the beginning.
